Players are able to use the NSW Government’s Active Kids vouchers to reduce their Magpies registration fees.
What is the Active Kids program?
The NSW Government’s Active Kids program helps kids get active by allowing parents, guardians and carers to apply for two $100 vouchers per calendar year for each student enrolled in school. The vouchers may be used with a registered activity provider, like the Magpies.
Voucher 1 is valid January to December and Voucher 2 is valid July to December.
Who is eligible for the vouchers?
Kids who are resident in NSW and enrolled in school (from Kindergarten to Year 12) are eligible for the vouchers.
How do I access the vouchers?
To obtain a voucher number, please log into the Services NSW website and follow the instructions.
You will need the following:
- your child’s Medicare card details
- your child’s height and weight measurements, and
- some idea of how many sessions of non-school sport activities your child has participated in over the last 12 months.
You will be provided with an alpa-numeric voucher code that can then be entered during the online registration process for Magpies Auskick/U8s and Junior, Youth and Youth Girls football.
How can I find out more about the Active Kids program?
The NSW Government has FAQs about the program, including eligibility for vouchers, the application process and usage of the voucher.
